Back to school

Here it is 4:50 in the morning and I have school tomorrow... Do you ever feel as if life just flys by you and you're just secretly watching behind a tree? I still don't know what I want to do with my life. I know what I should do, or what would be good for me to do, but if you asked me where I will be in 5 years, I really could only give you a guess. I just wish I knew what I'm supposed to do with my life, what part I'm supposed to play in this world, what impact my small life will make. I've known a man who did more with his life in the 18 years he was on this earth, than I will probably do in a lifetime of living. If I just had some sort of certainty or closure I think that I would live life with much more confidnece. But here I go, life will fly by as I go to class every day and become occupied with some numbers in a book. I just don't see the point anymore.

My Favorite Quotes

Some people make the world more special just by being in it.

A true friend thinks of you when all others are thinking of themselves.

True love doesn't consist of holding hands, it consists of holding hearts.

I love you, not only for who you are, but for who I am when I'm with you.

The seeds of love are in friendship, and then other stages of a relationship develop out of that.

My Lodi Friends

My Lodi Friends
The small town of Lodi where I'm from. I love Lodi even though, if I have nothing to do, I get a little stir crazy there. But the friends I have there are friends that I will have for the rest of my life. Lodi breeds good people and, for the most part, everyone there is great!

At the Bear in Chico
This is my 21st birthday in December 2003. My friends came up to visit me and we all went out to the Bear in Chico which is an awesome bar with great drink specials and awesome people. If you've never been to Chico, I recommend making a stop there. And if you're not 21, the bear is also a great burger & fries reasturant during the day. It's pretty busy during the school year on weekends as well as "trike nights" on wednesdays where you ride a large tricycle around the bar and chug a beer at the end of the course.

My friends from San Louis are awesome! Eventhough I don't get to see them as often as I would like to, they're always a blast to be with and we will always remain good friends! Christina & Dan are my Davis friends, they both used to be roommates of mine, but now Christina goes to UC Davis and studies psycology there. Go Aggies!

My Kitty

Hector
This is Hector my cat/dog. He's a cat dog, because he's a cat that has many qualities like a dog. I told him when he was a kitten that I've never had a cat before and I'm much more partial to dogs, and I think he payed attension. heheheh j/k. But seriously, he's my baby and my pride and joy and I love him very much! He loves to be held and handeled and he doesn't care if you play with him or rough house with him. He absolutely loves people. He's 3 years old, he'll be 4 in May. He often reminds me of a mob boss kitty who loves to eat and let all the other kitties do all the work.

My Boyfriends and Me

Dave and Denise Posted by Hello

My boyfriend
My boyfried, David, is very political. If you would like to see life from a "blue view", you can check out his blog at TheBlueView. He and I are both from the same home town, Lodi, and he also attends Chico State with me. Funny story, we went to the same high school, but didn't know each other personally, we only knew of each other. We didn't actually meet until our friend Jeremy introduced us. Dave is a Music Industry major here at Chico. He is very talented and you should check out his website some time. He loves music, so if you want to talk music with him or hear some that he has written you can e-mail him on his website. Some of his favorite artists are John Mayer and he supports Stroke9 which is the band his cousin started in.

Happy New Year!

I just wanted to say "Happy New Year" to everyone out there who might be reading. This year was one of my most tame, but I guess as you get older, these things just happen. I spent my new year at home with all of my friends. We played games...some pool... and just enjoyed the New Year in eachother's company. At this moment, I sit in my room, at my computer desk and my good friend Akeem is already asleep. I missed a few people this year, but I know that I will see them soon! Lisa and Kati, I hope you had a great one!! I love you guys! My San Louis boys, I sure do miss you guys! We need to hook up sometime soon! And all of my other friends, I bid you good well, and good night. I will rest on my new years resolution of being "more motivated and more independent", and I will try to accomplish it. If you like, let me know how your New Year's went, I hope it went well. Good Night.
